290 cummins fan bracket
Hey all, trying to change the fan belts on my L9000. Looks like I have to take the fan bracket off to get them, correct? There is a little air line to the fan housing also. Any precautions before I disconnect it?

Air line to the fan clutch may also be "push-lok" style, if no obvious nut on airline, look for little plastic ring on top of fitting where hose goes in. Push in on the hose and plastic ring together, hold down on the plastic ring and pull out the hose. I know no room for 2 hands, but that is how it's done.

Thank you for the tips. It turned out to be a big job to get the bolts loose on the fan bracket so I didn't get to pull the belt. Gotta take it to match up since they can't cross ref the number I could see on the back of it. I've seen the push lock type connectors before. This one looks to have a threaded fitting. I just wanted to make sure before I started pulling things apart that this is what had to be done. Not gonna have time now to get it til next saturday though.
