with the eng. running i have a little over 14 v with a load of say lights it drops to around 13.5-7 v wipers on it drops again to 13 v with tha air on it drops to 12.5-7 v and my temp ind. goes up past 210 . turn the air off and temp drops to 200 or so turn lights off temp goes down to 185-190 with more items on my temp ind goes up more byt the voltage drops more it should not drop that low with a load should it ?????

It may be your idle rpm or your belt tension. Make sure the belt is tight. Then while doing your testing, raise the idle of the engine a little bit. It may be turning too slow. If you have retro-fitted this onto a older engine with the original pulleys, you may need to change the pulleys on the engine if you have that option. If you compare a 60's or older engine to a 70's-up engine, you will notice the pulleys are made to turn the fan and the alternator faster, to help with cooling and all the electrical accessory loads.
