No...its smaller....9mm 6 point is too big....and 7 mm....is too small.....its on tje front driveshaft where it goes into transfer case.....all the other nuts were regulare 1/2" wrench
Ok....whats the trick to reaching the bolt that holds the tranny dipstick and the one above it....( can i cut out the 2 tubes that come off the top of my cat...[one is already off and the hole in the cat is sealed])
Are you talking about the tranny to engine bolts? Depending on which engine you have, could use a long extension with universal socket or come in from the top with wrenches.
Another thing I do which is more work but makes things easyer is to take out the pass side inner plastic fender well. That gives a wide open view of the pass side of engine/tranny area. Without the wheel and fender well in place, you got lots of room to get the bellhousing bolts with out hasseling with the %^$^@# cats in the way.
Hey sub...93 F-350, 351.E4OD.....im the one who had shifting problems.....well it finally just quit so i found another....the 2 tranny to bellhousing bolts above the starter are a pain in the butt to get to....there are tubes coming from my cat that are right inthe way.....removing the inner fender will help but those tubes are still there
Eddie.....cant go in thru the to because of those stupid tubes.....im tempted to rip all that emissions crap out....i live in wv....we dont.have emissions here
