Electric Fans

Anybody running an electric fan to replace the stock crank driven fan? What are you running? What about wiring?

The Mark VIII fan is the only way to go. I have mild 460 in this 90 plus weather I have yet to get over 190 degrees. Takes the worry out of sitting at lights or traffic.

Mid 90's Taurus's and Sables. You do have to make sure you get the fan from a car with a 3.8 engine. I have one from a Sable in my 77 with a 302.

As far as the wiring from the JY I'd say you can get some, but you need around an 80 amp continuous duty solenoid or breaker to run the high setting (which it seems like no one who does this conversion needs the high setting). I did get my regular relay's from a Taurus SHO and the sable, though.
