I think it is just a couple to high. more like 29K but the used truck market is hot right now so I would imagine they will get the 32K for it.

Did you check the hours on the motor yet?

How do you check the hours on it? And what would be a reasonable amount of hours for it having 46k miles on it?

On the right side of the dash there are three buttons. Hit the middle one (setup) and then hit the top one (reset). That should then prompt it to go thru a series of screens. Maybe 3rd one in will be hours so pay attention as soon as you hit that reset button.

To be in the neigborhood of 1300 hours is what I would want myself...or an average of 35 mph.

When you start dropping down into the 20's I would be concerned about a lot of idleing and plugging up of the DPF and EGR valves.

So I'm gonna assume that a lot if idling will plug up the egr valve.

I see. What kind of trucks were recalled by ford. I thought they recalled some of the 2008 ford diesels.

I retired from ATV motocross last year and sold my trailer so I don't have anything to tow anymore, therefore I don't need the big diesel, as much as I love it.
