How's this now? Are you saying you are dropping collision and comp on your truck and just buying liability? Your truck still has a rather high value to not fully cover it.

No, I got a policy with a new company. Full coverage with same limits, for much less. My old company told me I could stay with them as a driver only, with liability (for example if I drove someone elses car) and escape the cancellation fee and get a refund check.
I have full coverage for me and my truck on my new policy. My old policy will expire next year and will not get renewed. The insurance agent was really cool and she knows exactly was I'm doing and is letting me slip through a loophole.
Essentially I have two policies;
1. AAA - Driver only, liability only
2. Esurance - Driver + Vehicle, Full coverage (Collision, Comp, Medical, Uninsured motorist)
