I'm going with a 22" semi rim and tire package so it will have 6 of the same Rims and I do want f450 fender flares for the front to balance out the dually fenders but I haven't been able to find any

To me, the only way to do this is to buy an F750 and an excursion rear body and join the two. Screw the poser 10 lug rims. Go all the way if you are going to spend good money. You will need the 4x4 converted F750, or buy an appropriate Rockwell front axle. This conversion has been done hundreds of times for a reason.

Just my opinion.

I thought I saw somewhere that to put the dually fenders on it would mess with the doors somehow. Basically the fenders would go into the doors and not look right.

I'm going with the fenders that are on the Harley f450 and part of the fender is connected to the door so the only thing I have heard is u can't park close to anything because u need more room to open the door but that's the only thing I have heard about the fenders

I say go for it, I think a dually Ex would be sweet, but I would swap the axles and do it the real way instead of just spacers and rims. The 2003 Ex 7.3 with 175k for $12k sounds like a good deal, assuming it hasnt been wrecked, or has a salvage title, etc...

X2. Dont fake it. Do it for real. But get an F450 front axle so you can get the matching fender flares

Yes the Ex has a clean title and if I'm putting a front axle might as well put a rear axle but Idk if I want to go through all that trouble right now but maybe run the Spacers for awhile
