Central Illinois gathering

I have been wanting to do a meeting for quiet some time. Well I finally have my own place so lets see what we can get going!! I live in a town 45 minutes from Champaign/Urbana Illinois. I will provide directions via PM to those who want to come. Anyways the meeting will be a gathering of "Gear Heads" Not just Ford Trucks due to the fact that there aren't many around. It will be open to all but I am mainly on Ford forums. I am looking to just have a relaxed gathering. If you are interested in this Please post here. That way I can Figure out how many are coming and it'll be easier to keep in contact. I am wanting to do this July 23 2011. That is on a Saturday.

Going to the Cliffs that day (granted, if I can have something working by that time). Otherwise I'd make the trip out. Hope you get some turnout!

Not sure right now but, I might just be able to rationalize a weekend trip down from the Chicago area to join in the socialization and festivitations (and then I'd have an excuse to go visit some old friends over in the Peoria area too so long as I'm in the mid-state region).

Just gotta check the calendar and make sure I'm not already double or triple booked for that weekend. Definitely sounds like it could be a fun time!

I hope it will be. I have some people interested from the T-bird forum and 79-86 Mustang/Carpi Forum. Like I said just a reason to meet others. If it goes well I may try to do another.

I have decided it will go from 10am till 4pm. Let me know by Thursday as to who is coming for lunch so I know how much to cook. I will cook burgers and hotdogs on the grill. I'll fire it up at noon. I'll have some drinks also and chips. This is just a gathering to meet new people. Thanks for all those who showed intrest. Also if your coming let me know so I can give u directions. My cell is 217-781-4000 incase you have any problems. Cell service in my town is kinda poor.
