clutch problems

the clutch on my truck is acting weird. first thing in the morning it fine its normally after i been drivin it 20 min or its like the clutch gets short. i go to take off and i barely lift up on the clutch and it engages. it dont have the free play so to speak that its suppose to have. it makes it harder to pull a load with it doin this. takin off anyways. i just wanted to see if anyone had any thoughts before i go to takin it out. i gotta pull 2 transmissions to get to it. i have an after market gear vendor on the back of the stock tranny gives me more options and power so i can pull more its nice havin 7 gears sometimes. my truck is a 2wd 4 speed by the way.

Is the fluid toped up in the shot glass people call a clutch master?

If you leave it in gear, with the clutch on the floor, after a few min. does it start engaging by it's self?

Could be the seals inside the clutch master leaking pressure when the fluid is hot.

It could be low on fluid, that would be nice. lol
It can also be a cracked firewall.
It can be too much wear in the mastercylinder rod where it connects to the pedal assembly.
It can be to much wear in the bushings in the pedal assembly.
It can also be the clutch discs are wore too far down.
Or a combination of all these things.
