CCV Mod Question ?

Hello everyone .

I did a CCV mod on my truck and stopped the plumbing at the transfer case . I've read some posts on here about running further back but some guys having problems in the winter when it freezes . My question is to the guys that have had this happen . How far back can I run the hose without it being a problem in the winter ?? I don't want to have problems and have to fix it when it's freezing . I'd like to remedy it now . I'm debating whether to make a trap for it too .

Thank-you for any responses .

The people here are awesome !!

I did mine all the way to the back and I lived in Alaska. Ran it like that for over 2 years. As long as it's all downhill you should be fine. I just recently switched mine back however in an attempt to reclaim some fuel mileage. I've noticed about .25 to .5 MPG with it switched back. Good luck either way you go.

I agree... as long as it has a slope towards the back, it should be fine..
