Air Cleaner Vacuum lines

So thanks to everyone who has been replying to my posts over the last few weeks. I purchased a K&N 14"x3" open air cleaner to replace my oil bath air cleaner on my 1978 Ford F250 400 6.6L Camper Special. I know there is a knockout on the new K&N for the PCV valve hose and I got the kit for that. Then there are two vacuum lines...on that goes to the pre-heater valve on the snorkel...and the other goes to a location where many vacuum lines split off. I don't mind getting rid of the pre-heater line but do I need the second vacuum line for any reason or can I just plug it up?

Thanks!
