Got my DP!

I received my DP tuner F5 today and installed it. Easy to install besides the dam silicone on the board. My finger is sore from scratching it off the circuit board butt who cares this thing is cool! Took it for a short ride and got 27# of boost the trans shifts way better than stock. I only took it for a short ride and I love it so far. Anyone know how much boost I should expect and what my max EGT's should be? Thanks to Clay at Riffraff!!!!!!

Right on, you're gonna love it!!

Running stock turbo with the mods you have, 27 sounds about right, you may get it to creep a little higher under WOT, but I wouldn't try to build more than 30 through stock turbo. EGT's should remain under 1200 max, mine usually sits around 900 during freeway driving at 75mph@2000 rpms. Under WOT you can get a short spike to 1200-1400, just don't hold it there for long.

Congrats again, now time to see that fuel mileage go down (at least for the first couple weeks)

Boost will probably max out around 28# and egts in 80e will top around 1300* and 80t around 1100*. Jody keeps them in check pretty well. That's how my gauges read on a regular basis.

Congrats on The DP. You will enjoy the new power that has been unleashed. You will need new tires sooner than You think (lol). Your boost sounds about right with a stock turbo, although Your stock turbo won't last long at those numbers. Anything over 20 shortens the life of the stock turbo. Egt's needs to be kept at 1200. Short burst over 1200 is ok just not to long.

Enjoy Your new toy.

I don't see any leaks. My egt's are between 400 and 450 crusing at 55 it will come up to 500 on a hill. At idol it's 100. Under acceleration from stop to 55 it gets to almost 600 or just over if I accelerate a bit quicker or up an incline. These numbers are on stock tune. With the 80e tune at 55 it will be as low as 375 on flat ground with no wind and 450 on hills. Seems about 25-50 lower with 80e than stock. Boost is between 2 and 4 cursing at 55.

There must be something wrong with your EGT gauge or probe. Those temps are way too low. Do you have the probe post turbo?

My probe is in my drivers side just past the exhaust manifold about 2" from the exhaust manifold clamp in the pipe

I thought the temp especially at idol was low! I got the truck and it had the Isspro 3" Gage and wire under hood, someone removed and discarded sensor when installing 4" exhaust. Was post turbo. I bought another sensor and installed it pre turbo 2" after the exhaust manifold in the up pipe as instructed. Now that u mention it I just looked at the back of the Gage and the PO put the red wire on - not the + so the wires are backwards I assume! I'm in the company van now so il change it when I get back to my truck. I'm not sure if it will make a difference or not! Anyone have a used or cheap 2" pyro Gage for sale? I need a smaller Gage to fit in my Gage pod anyway! Hope the wire change will help for now!

I tried reversing my wires on the back of my pyro Gage and it goes backwards now. Well that's not the problem. Mabe Isspro sent me the wrong pyro sensor? I can't imagine it could be only 100 degrees at idol just past my exhaust manifold!
