i'm working on a 97 ford explorer 4.0 soc. i have a 20 amp fuse in the power distribution box slot 11(mini) that continues to blow. i know it controls the hego system and have checked my conections and wires but i'm not sure why it continues blowing. is there anyone out there that can point me in the right direction???
only thing i can think of is there is a bare wire somewhere that is arching and causing it to blow.

i had two o2 sensors that were bad, i replaced them and then put a new 20 amp fuse in the fuse box. so far so good the fuse hasn't blown, my check engine light hasn't come back on and the truck hasn't died. we will see how it goes. i think the o2 sensors being bad were causing it to blow.
thats wierd unless there was a short on the o2 sensor. usually they will give a code if the o2 sensor isnt working right. Glad its working
