Hello folks. Just stopping into for a quick info post. Did a quick search and didn't see any post on this part. So here goes
So recently I replaced my UVCH's, valve cover gaskets because of some gremlins. I hope the heck I got them out, but anyways this is to report on the UVCH's I bought from IH. They are made with some prongs that prevent them from coming unplugged. I had already ground down a couple quarters before I found/payed attention to this.....
Also I picked two of them up for what ford wanted for one!!!
Once I got into the truck I found that the driverside UVCH was a bit unplugged so hopefully that cures my problem. I went ahead and replaced glowplugs and retorqued injector bolts and rocker arms while I was in there and it really made a difference in the sound of the truck
