Hey 540,if you don't mind could you keep me posted on one of those flatbeds if you see another one for that price. I would like to have one as long as it is not a homemade one. Thanks!
if i recall correctly the guy i bought my truck from in knoxville wanted $6800 for it with 220k. ended up trading him a CC DRW with 270k that i bought for $2500 straigt up for the truck ha
Hey, Keith Stone, if you see ever see a junked out OBS Powerstroke 4x4 with a manual transmission (tranny has to be in good shape) between $1k-$2k, send me a PM or something. I'm willing to drive to TN to get it. I'd prefer a F-350 so I could get a Dana 60 out of it, but it's no big deal if it's a 3/4 ton.
I'll post when I see them again. We can't get whole, running trucks here that cheap. After the snow season of '09-'10, everything 4 wheel 3/4 and above is a sought after commodity. It will be a few years before it balances out. Parts trucks are reasonable sometimes.
I just meant if one jumped out at you. I don't really care if they're in sad shape as long as the transmission isn't.
I don't really have time to look through craigslists nationwide in search of a truck that meets my criteria. I also didn't mean to imply that you had time to do that for me. I was just meaning that if one bit you in the butt, maybe you could pass the word along. I can't touch a Powerstroke in my area for under $4kish. You can find IDI trucks for $3kish, though. However, they're rarer than Powerstrokes around here. Still over my price range for a parts truck, in any case.

There was no flak there man.
It's all good.
I'm a nice person despite what others say about me.
