Did not look at the PDF files so not sure if this is coverd there, but the wires are already ran to the Eng compt, Drivers side behind hood support, 4 wires look like they are looped back into wiring loom. match to the ones in the cluster to left of sterring colum in cab. the ones under hood are a real pain to get too, not much room for spilcing, another time small hands are needed. Just set up a pair of back up lights other day.

My concern with using these wires is they all appear to be the same size/gauge and are all small wires. I don't know alot about wiring so not sure if this is an issue or not......
was wondering about that as well, I used them anyway, the wires running through fire wall are bigger, will see what happens when the Light Forces get mounted.
When ordering the upfitter kit from www.partsguyed.com they include a $9.xx coin holder spot filler to put into where the brake controller is/or is not.... maybe a person can save the $ and opt out of that if it is not needed. Also the bolts to hold the relays up under the dash are not included. I am going to try to get a set of the correct Ford bolts, if I can.

The wires under the dash are just to power the relay... The relay handles your items power needs.
my project is to add an extra set of lights on either side of my license plate. Im not too savy with electrical when it comes to the fuse block, etc. Ive done it before, but with this damn truck uh-oh. I assume the power wire from the fogs will go to in this case, switch one, and the usual place to ground it.
I just used the upfitter switch's to add some offroad light's to my 09' F350. I hate electrical work, but this install was easy. I used switch #1, 30 amps. I scored some Cibie lights from craigslist. I got them for my 76' F250 since these are 20+ years old and more of a vintage feel that I'm after for that truck, but they looked good on the 09', so I'll run them for a while.
I can post pics and descriptions if wanted....
wanna make sure im understanding the pass thru wires properly. the firewall pass thrus are not connected on either end? but rather just a section of conductor passed thru from the engine compartment to the cabin? so its up to the end user to connect the upfitter to the pass thru under the dash area, and then continue the circuit to whatever load is being applied (lights, etc..)??
You are correct the pass through wires are not connected on either end. Just a heads up though connecting to those wires under the hood is a biach!! There is very little room between the under hood fuse box and the firewall to get your hands and a crimper in there.
under hood fuse box? why would that come into play? there are blunt cut wires near the driver side hood hinge that seem fairly easy to get to? am i missing something?

Mine were not real easy to get to. The only way I was able to access those wires was between the fuse box and firewall. Maybe its just me but I had a hard time getting my hands and a crimper in there to connect to those wires.
Your saying I should of just been able to pull those wires out by the hood hinge and connect to them? Go Figure I always seem to do things the hard way!!
theres a bundle of blunt cut wires (just like under the dash, above the parking brake) that are bundled up nicely right next to the hood hinge. seems easy enough to get to... again unless im missing something. So what im envisioning, is that i will need to run a lead to the grille area and make several connections for my lights up front in that area.
