110 was what I thought. Just can't see it on unit anywhere. 300 is alot but without a car payment it is easier to swallow. Also would feel good to do it wright

Its almost guaranteed its a 110. When you find a reputable shop and you tell them the year and make of vehicle they'll know what parts to replace in it. Thats actually the least thing to worry about, finding a reputable shop should be your top priority.
I had my choice to exchange my core for a fully rebuilt one on the shelf and out the door but I wanted my Alt, nobody elses, personal reasons. I dropped it off on a thursday or friday and had it on a Tuesday. It was actually done on Monday but picked it up tue. Mines a DD but I can take my wifes vehicle when in a pinch. Ask around and when your comfortable with a shop tell them your situation and see what they say, they might even have one on the shelf.
Search for local electrical componet rebuilders. Do your research, look for reputable shops that have alot of good feedback or from around town at your local garages, they should point you in the right direction since they most often use these rebuilders. Mine went out too Terry at 160,000 and got my Alt. rebuilt by a local rebuilder, my new shop recommended them to me and I got a year warranty with it, plus a full parts list what they changed in it, 144.00 out the door. The most important is I wanted to keep my stock Mitubishi altenator, their great reliable units.
Ditto you can't go wrong when you support a local REPUTABLE rebuilder ask around unless you don't mind changing them out every couple of years, or months, stay away from the chain rebuilders as they don't use new parts all the time if they test good they go back into a bin for re-use I've seen this with my own eyes I was floored! That's why they give up so easy on warranty, they know what percentage will fail and they price it accordingly, to still make money. I will only buy new or from my local guy who I've been dealing with since I was an apprentice! He will not compromise a rebuild since his name and reputation are on every unit that leaves his shop!

Thank you kind sir. I can credit a good friend here SpringerPop for guiding me towards a local rebuilder. I probably would have bought a stock unit because I've heard of the horror stories here and abroad, wasn't going the chain store route period.
How long do the rebuilds take? I need my truck every day.
I wonder if someone close by would loan you their spare?? if I were close to you and HAD a spare I'd loan you mine until you got YOUR ORIGINAL rebuilt.
Can you borrow a vehicle for a day or 2 may be?
