Ken00,
The sticky tech info that you posted at the top of the forum, the pcm reprogram part for larger tires...
Is that for all ford trucks, or just rangers?
I'm assumeing for all fords, I'm wondering if it's possible to do it to my 00 ranger, i guess I just need a scan tool that writes....
I wonder If a person could rent one..

Question for Ken00
I never looked into other vehicles, only rangers, and that link is based on the 2000 Ford manual. I don't know of a scanner, other than Fords, that can do it but some companies sell add-ons that correct for tire/axle changes.

Super, for a moment there I thought you were gonna ask Ken00 about changing gears and puttin' larger <a href="http://service.bfast.com/bfast/click?bfmid=37919709&siteid=39251846">tires </a>on your new Taurus! (How are the mods coming?) 
P.S. I'm looking at a '97 Taurus right now, 90K. The guy across the street just put it up for sale. I'm trying to talk him way down. I like the '00 style better, but I think I can work this guy over some and get a steal. I'm having a little trouble getting him to take my '93 Sable as a trade in.

Thanks Ken00, that's good to know, I'm going to try to do some digging, may be i'll be able to find a ford tech that will do it for me cheap.
hmm I wonder how some MTR's would look on it....
We just got it today, offcially you might say, had a lot of paper work hoops to jump though.
I sure like that 3.0 in the taurus, man that car can haul, and not to mention a whole lot of room to boot!
