pushrod straightness

Ok here is a question. What is the tolerance for the straightness of the pushrods in a '04 6.0l psd. I'm working on mine right now and checking the pushrods for straightness by rolling them on glass i saw one that had just the slightest bend to it that i wasnt even sure it was bent. So I got out the feeler gauges and sure enough .002 of bend. would that be considered bent or is it within the tolerance for pushrods? I've been looking all over the internet and couldnt find anything. please help

replace it. I don't know the tolerance but in rebuilding motors they have always been straight.

I am not an expert so someone else will chime in.

from experience, an 8" pushrod is ok with 0.002" but thats in a gas engine.
i dont have any idea about a diesel.

how long are they overall?
diameter?

Do you know what a new/rebuilt 6.0 costs? Replace it. It's bent now (slightly), but it's not going to get any better. A pushrod is cheap. Do you really want to second guess yourself every time you mash down on the skinny pedal?
