Stalling after startup!!!
I need some assistance with keeping my E-150 running. I just replaced the head gaskets, and now that I have everything back together, the engine dies out after startup; everytime. The only way I can keep the engine running is to keep my foot on the gas. It runs great at higher speeds, but always stalls when I come to a stop. The timing and compression is great, new cap, rotor, wires, plugs, no vacuum leaks, new fuel filter. I am just out of ideas and do not know what to try next. Thanks for any reply and help.

First of all are you getting black smoke out the tailpipe? If so you are running way too rich. If not you may have a weak fuel pump, Did you ever try changing the fuel filter, they can get clogged so bad that the engine will only run if you are on the gas constantly. Did you check for any vacuum leaks? The worst possible case I can come up with, your timing chain could be worn and jumped a couple teeth out of time.
