dropping in say hello
just dropping in to say hello to the old v10 gang. it's been a while since i've had much time to do almost anything. esp. help out with good dealer mechanics knowlage of the v10 and it's inner working.
my long term 28 ford pickup project with a close artist buddy is now done, had it out to the nsra show in york pa a few weeks back. where it got a lot of veiws and was shot for a write up in a up coming issue of hot rod deluxe magizine.
had to deal with family problems, i lost both my blood brother and forster brother to ALS/ better known as LOU Gehrigs in just 2 months time, one suffered long and faught it hard for close to 2 years. the other in just 3 months time, this was followed by our age 91 dad just this past tuesday,
for those knowing the east coast ocean like art, we took all 3's ashes out to the hudson canyon off new jersey just yesterday. 100 miles out and layed them to rest.
hopefully now i'll be around more then i've been able and look forward to more of the good old times like we had when fredvon4 and wrench traveler were around. and thinking of wrench we do video chat weekly and he sends his best to all the v10ers.

yes don is still on the island and still has his montana 5er. he has retired and does some day jobs here and there at the mills.
he totaled his 05 v10 a few years ago in a bad blizzard rolling it over and now has a chevy 2500 duramax dualie.
just married off his daughter 2 weeks ago,so he has been busier retired then when working. forum wise he seems to stay out of them, but we do video chat via google a lot.

Tell him I said hi. My friend retired two years ago and he is in the same boat after retiring. He has been helping his son with his business and is now busier than he was when he was working full time. I have four more years to go....I have not plans to work like that though. I have many other things to keep me out of trouble.
