newbie question on 352/390 engine
ok I have a 1968 390 3speed and today I received a 1967 352 automatic and I want to install the automatic on the 390 is it a direct bolt on? also what size automatic trans is a on the 1967

The tranny year correct would be a MX C-O-M Cruse O Matic.
The FE engines are the same on the outside so yes a direct fit. The str. drv. engine has a pilot bushing/bearing in the end of the crank that has to be removed. Everything else should bolt on.

Also depends on the power you're putting out. That's why the C-6 went behind the 428CJ and 427.
