Keypad woes

Hey Guys I am still trying to get my Keypad to work. I added the Factory keypad and I am having nothing but Hell I am on my third Dealership (Two have Failed) The Third Dealership told me they need a VIN Number from a 2005 Supercab with a Key Pad from the Factory to enter into the Dealers Computer to get my new keypad to work. The Tech talked to the Ford Hotline they said this would work. but.... They would not provide the Dealership with a Vin Number. How can I get a VIN Number for a 2005 Ford SuperCab 4x4 with a FACTORY kEYPAD. Any help would be Great.

go test drive one that is for sale and grab the vin

Thanks Dano I found a couple on AutoTrader I hope they work the Dealerships around here dont have much to choose from..

You could also try the 5 digit code on the RAP Module... Good luck finding it,though...

You could call some junk yards around town to see if they have a 2005 model and get the vin off it.

I needed the factory code earlier, I went to the dealer. They plugged in the computer code, and got the code for me. Worked like a charm. Not sure if that's what you're asking for.

Well, I found out it is located behind the rear seat on the driver side. It only takes about 5 min. to get to it. There is a video on Youtube that shows how to remove the seat on a 2004-06 Ford F-150.
