Ok, friends Ranchero wipers won't "Park" anymore. They work fine in all the motions(slow, fast, intermittent), but when you turn them off, they just stop where they're at.
Is it the switch(I don't think so), or the wiper motor itself(what I'm thinking). I'm thinking since the truck sees no rain and wipers hardly get used that maybe there is a set of contacts inside wiper motor gearbox that has failed/stuck and is causing the lack of "park".
Never had a vehicle with hidden wipers, so I'm just grasping at straws.
Your problem isn't with the dash switch. There is a park switch that is inside the wiper motor. It's actually a set of contacts that are in the gear reduction.
