How long does a Regen last? Should your shut off your truck before the regen finishes.

...duration is about ten minutes...unlike the 6.4, there is no reason to keep driving, the regen just restarts when you next operate the truck...rumor is there is a drive to complete message that will appear if you short the regen process several times...I have not seen this rumored message in the over 29000 miles my truck has traveled.

Regards

Yup, that's been my experience also.

Not a rumor. I've had this message pop up once.

I have not seen the "drive to clean exhaust filter" message either but it's not a rumor message.
This is documented on page 55 of the 6.7L engine manual.

Thank you

I am watching the 6.7. I think in a couple of year I might get one. The engine seems to be great!

I just picked my 6.7 up last week. I too was reading this forum and looking to wait, now that I have it, my advise is DON'T WAIT!! The truck/motor is awesome, motor purrs like a kitten, but when you need it has the power of a gorilla. I have 600 miles on it now and I am so looking forward to pulling my TT next week on our trip.
