Rear is a dana 60. Stock front axle

He's talking on the donor truck being a d60 rear.
It wont work with our trucks due to no VSS.
I'd take the 10.25 over a d60 rear anyways.

I ran the numbers on my rear and it says its a d60. Is it actually a sterling??? If ford can get it for me

Just curious why? I always hear the d60 is the best route.

You should have a sterling 10.25 like mentioned.
Awitte, d60 is the best route for the front axle, but not the rear.

So sterling. Thanks man. So has anyone had to replace ball joints in the stock pos front end?

Gotcha! And our trucks.. or say the 97 f350 psd. They come with the d44 stock? solid or whatever?

The 350 will come with the d60 stock. The 250 comes with the d50.
I haven't had to replace my ball joints yet..

I replaced ball joints. And im starting to get the pop back a little bit and I toes out if im in reverse. I let my old ball joints go til they toed all the time lol. I figure I will buy a solid axle before I spend another 700 on ball joints
