magnet inside the block

My dad dropped a screw inside the spark plug hole when trying to make room to fix a blown out spark plug. He put a magnet down in there which ended up breaking off of the stick it was on. After using another magnet he got the screw out, but the magnet is still inside. Using another magnet I can grab ahold of one end of it, but it is still stuck to something inside the engine. I know it is asking for a miracle, but does anyone have any ideas on how to get it out without having to open up the engine?

I'm sure it doesn't matter, but the engine is the 5.4.

thats not inside the block, thats inside the head. which does matter. gotta pull the head or keep trying with a magnet or a puller style thing like Mawk showed.
