i have a 1999ford f150 with the 5.4 triton in it i reaplaced the heater core a couple of years ago
the other night i found a puddle of coolent on the ground under the back kind of passenger side of the motor
fog is not pooing out of the vents like it was the last time i can smell it from in the cab and my windsheild started too fog over i cant see at all where the leak is coming from and really dont want to change the heater core again if i dont have too
i was wondering if the lines running too the heater core might casue that or something in that area of the motor that i cant see that wold leak
the heater core sits in a box. the box has a drain tube in it for when the core fails. the tube is on the passenger side. so crawl under and look to see where the leak is coming from.
