Question i have 2 parts compatabilty questions

so im wanting to get rid of my e4od out of my 92 f350 4x4 and swap in the zf5 out of my 88 f350 2wd but my question is will my transfer case from my e4od bolt to the zf5?

and my other question is i pulled the codes and 29 comes up witch is speed sensor so i replaced the speed sensor on the rear end and im still getting the code so im thinking its the pcom now so im wandering if i can take the pcom out of my 91 f250 e4od 7.3l diesel and swap them out and see if that fixes my problem?

On the Zf question the answer is no. You would have to dismantle the ZF and fit a 4x4 tailshaft and transfer case adapter.
On the PSOM question the answer is no again as your `91 does not have one.
Maybe try unplugging the RABS ECM and see if that helps (it should be behind the glovebox).

you CAN always swap in the zf5 and get a divorced transfer case. then you will be able to run a longer front driveline and clock it any way you need without having to worry about it being in the way at all. even be able to run a chevy tc with a chevy d60 (cheaper then the ford/dodge) with the passenger side drop.

On your speed sensor question, disconnect the batteries over night, sometimes the computer will retain memory even if the part is new and the problem solved. this should clear the code if the problem is fixed.

Try unpluging the PSOM and plug it back in I have read that has worked. I sent my to a shop in ND and it has worked fine since.

if it helps the f450s use the 4x4 zf in the 2wd truck. they just put a driveline parking brake on the tranfercase bolt pattern.
