Nav unit reprogram?

Nav unit reprogram?
So I got a nav unit from ebay, but it needs to be reprogrammed for my truck because many of the features are inoperative, however my dealer cannot seem to accomplish this. Does anyone know the process for doing this? The unit doesn't show up on their IDS so they don't know what to do.

I too bought one from ebay from an 07 Freestyle fo my 07 FX2 which did not come with nav. Mine was a plug and play although I don't have the redundant steering wheel controls like the Lariat does. The only other thing I noticed was that the head unit has rear DVD controls but they are inop.
