Look what I found!

Yea look what I found "In my truck bed"! Urghh, some people shouldn't have a truck if your gonna do stuff like this. No offense but it chaps my britches when someone does something as "Retarded" as this!

if the cross-members are not damaged you can fix it not real bad with a new floor panel , take the bed off (yea haha those bolts suck) and you can leave wheelhouses / x members / ect... cut out the floor and weld in a new good as new . or you could do a patch job instead of removing the whole floor just as good not as pretty usually. ill look at my est program and come back and edit this post with a good body shop price if you had to get someone to do it so you know what it should cost.

I got a boy down the street that has gooseneck horse trailer and had put the rails for a 5er hitch in it with a gooseneck adapter that hooks between the rails. Well he came over and wanted me to look at his lights, while checking the wireing I notice the rail are just bolted to the bed, I mean they just drilled some holes and stuck some bolts in it no reinforceing or anything and they were loose.
He said he needed to tighten them up. I said heres your sign.lol

yes I sent down to a buddys shop and had him get it done right before he killed someone.

$400 is cheap, a real clean bed sells for about $1000-$1500 around me.

If you're a welder I bet you can get a bed floor from a wrecked bed for next to nothing.

You will like the B&W, I was gonna say to paint the edges of the holes you drill in your bed but you sure don't need to worry with that

It just sucks to think that someone would install those rails that way.

You're right, he coulda' killed someone!

Reese makes some really slick fifth-wheel rail brackets for the frame and under-bed for these SuperDutys.

I kinda like my B&W turnoverball gooseneck hitch. Bed is flat when not in use and nothing to collect and hide water.

Hi Marv, I'm back on the net again.

That's what I have. The no-drill frame brackets. I had them linexd black and smooth texture. They still look like the day I mounted them. And I live in the RUST BELT
