Hi all,
Towing an enclosed race trailer (6000 lbs) with my 2005 F250 4x4 5.4L V8 (3.73 rear) and I think on hot days I am really overheating the trans oil...so much so that I am getting some overflow. Anyone added an additional trans cooler to the 5.4L setup? What did you use? Where did you mount? My truck has the factory transmission cooler already.
Trans shifts smooth and truck hauls the trailer no problem. It lugs on some hills but I expect that.
