air in lines

so is there any trick to find where the air is getting in the lines. im pretty sure its not the return lines because i just replaced those a few months back. its a pretty bad leak after awhile of driving my truck boggs down and dies. it only did it on the front tank for a day or so but now it does it on both

I would be looking at the factory fuel lines that go to the tank and where they conect and the line that is on the sucktion side of the lift pump. It sounds like you are pulling air into the system and these are a good place to start.

if it was leaking from one of the lines on one of the tanks would that cause both tanks to not work?
