I bought a new antenna for my 1966 ford and damn if it is not hard to get to!! any suggestions??
Is the original antenna or any part of it still in place? The cable is made as part of the antenna.
Feeding the cable thru the tiny access hole in the inner cowl panel is a PITA!
If the old cable is still plugged into the radio (or is hangin' under the dash), tie a long piece of twine to it, remove the antenna from the cowl panel.
Tie the twine to the new cable, pull it from inside...the cable will then feed thru the access hole in the inner cowl panel.
