I've searched everywhere for a tag frame plate/mount for the front bumper of a 1991 Ford F150 Lariat. Apparently these are a treasure. I've gone so far as to leaving notes on windshields of strangers truck that have the plate I need with no tags on them. Thinking they might sell it to me. I've searched Ebay etc. Does anyone out there know where I could find a frame? I can't believe this is this hard to find.........lol Help, Kathy
I really don't know what you would call it. If I type in "tag frame" online all I get is the outside frame that's more for decoration than anything else. What I'm looking for is the Ford factory plate that came on the front bumper that you mount a tag on. I know it has 2 holes at the top and 1 hole at the bottom in the middle. On the 1991 F150 Lariat there is a 2" to 3" rubber strip on the bumper, the frame, plate or whatever it is was mounted under the strip.
Thank you sooooooooo much, it's amazing what one word can do. I took your advice and looked for a license plate "bracket". I think I've found one that will work. I've been looking for this for almost a year! Thank You, Thank You, Thank You !!!
