I am not much of a mechanic guy though I have done many repairs for the basic stuff like brakes, struts, fuel pumps and what not so forgive me if this is a stupid question.

If you have and excursion with the 5.4l V8 what would you need to do to replace it with the V10? Are the mounts different, trans mating different?

I would think the two would be close to drop in but totally guessing.

And I guess while I am at it could you put the 7.3 or 6.0L diesel in that body as well?

I know the diesel would require more things to change, outside of the engine compartment but is it something that if you had the engine it wouldn't be cost prohibitive to do?
