1990 Cab Removal

Hey all. I have removed the bed of my truck, because mine was about toasted, and the parts truck bed will be like new after some body work. While the bed is off, I plan to do some fuel tank repair, leaf spring replacement, frame painting, ect. I was looking today, and I have about decided the only way to do a good job on the frame work (paint, ect) would be to remove the cab. My corners are rotted out and the painting of the frame and body work on cab would be much smoother this way. What kind of job is cab removal? What needs to be removed/disconnected to get the sucker off? And, would it be worth replacing the cab? I don't want to (it would be pretty much a different truck after everything else) but I want it to be a good "restoration". Advice?

disconnect the wiring harness, take the fenders off, disconnect the brake lines, disconnect the throttle cable, disconnect the lower steering shaft, disconnect the cab vacuume lines, disconnect the heater hoses and A/C hoses, remove the 4 cab mount bolts, and lift the cab off.

Are the wiring connectors grouped as one?

Removing the cab is not hard. I replaced the cab on my 89 F250 in 2 days in my driveway with hand tools. The hardest part was finding enough people to help me lift the old one off and lift the new one on. just go slow, inside and out, and take off any and everything that connects the 2.

Ok next question: do you all think I should even bother removing the cab, considering the work I want to do? Is there a way to work on the frame and such without doing it?
