The only rusted through part of the cab was one rear corner so I got to work on that this morning.
Made the inner panel and then fitted the patch panel I bought, which although well made wasn't the greatest fit so I added a piece to it where the meets the door.

Decided to build myself a tailgate frame today.
Using some electrical conduit bushings to make the hinges a little smoother.

Had some later Ford taillights so I thought I'd use them.
Made a couple of spacers to mount them.
Got the rear fenders on and finished the spare carrier/gas filler hatch.

Got the gas springs mounted on the tire carrier.
Finally got the trans x-member ,had to make 2 one inch spacer blocks and then got it fitted.
Mocked up the brake pedal/booster bracket.
Now comes the question...Do I need to weld another piece to the bracket to space it the 2" needed or would 4 x 2" pieces of threaded tube be strong enough?
Bent the brake pedal to mirror the original.
Picked up a nice clean pair of leather buckets for it.

Really nice project Bob! Lots of neat idea and tricks. Nice work too! How come you chose to run a 460? Won't you have to take out a bank loan to take it around the block? (fuel cost)

Grafted a 3" piece of metal into the pedal/booster bracket so it clears the x member.
