If you look in the catalogs, the windshield rubbers and trim are the same up to 79, so I would say its safe to say the windshields are too, except for tint at the top

What catalogs are you looking in to come up with this jazz?
1967/72 windshield weatherstrips are specific to 1967/72 only. Not the same as 1973/76. 1977/79 is different from 1973/76.
C7TZ-8103110-A .. Windshield Weatherstrip: 1967/72-Use without windshield reveal mouldings.
C7TZ-8103110-B .. Windshield Weatherstrip: 1967/72-Use with windshield mouldings.
The difference between 1967/72 and 1973/76 w/strips is with the 4 corners. If a 1973/76 or 1977/79 weatherstrip is used on 1967/72's, water will leak in, you may have wind noise from air rushing into the 4 corners.
The glass is the same 1967/79. The Sun Band w/shield with the extra tint on top was first offered in 1980. It can be bought in autoglass shops for earlier models.
1967/76 & 1977 before serial number O80,001 use the same w/shield reveal mouldings. 1977 from serial number O80,001, 1978/79 use a one piece plastic chrome moulding that glues on.
The above info is from the 1964/72 & 1973/79 Ford Truck Parts Catalogs.
Carpenter has this same weatherstrip info in his 1967/79 repro truck parts catalog on page 76.

Don't know what reveal mouldings are but I took a windshield and weatherstrip out of a 74 and put it in my 72 and all is well. No water leaks in, no air rushes through and corners are all good.

Ask yourself this: If the weatherstrips are the same, why would Carpenter and every other repro parts sellers and the Ford truck parts catalog have listings for 1967/72 only weatherstrips?
The simple answer is, they are not the same. May work, but not correct.
W/shield reveal mouldings (fit into groove in w/strip) will be found on Custom Cabs, Rangers and etc.
As to your question about what catalogs say they are the same, LMC truck is one of them, still looking for my NPD to check, not saying you are wrong, just proving I was correct in my statement also.
