Let me know how it turns out, or maybe I can swing by and take a look. I really ought to put a real oil gauge in, but really needed a decent place to put a couple switches as well. A fourth pod, even if its way high up, would work for the switches.

i just read 94's link and i couldnt help but laugh that it says "blowout price 339.00 to 330.00" if $9 off a $340 item is a bowout i'd hate to see what they consider a regular sale

yah I keep forgetting you're out in the eastern part of the state most of the time... I just see your location as saying "Western Mass" and go from there..

I'm often out in Russell in the weekends, so let me know when you get it and you'll be in Southwick. I don't know how different the '85 cabs are from the '88 cabs, but I can show you what I did to make mine fit.

Excited about seeing pictures. I am interested in getting the quad setup as well. SO.... what are the recommended (4) gauges if you have a turbo??

just a update the fur gauge pillar doesn't fit too great. i havn'tdoneit yet but to botm gauge is real low and on 85 dashes you have to shave off the corner of your dash to make it fit. Not a big deal for me bt might be a problem for some. But it does look like it would fit perfect in the next gen dash.
Also i spend TOO much money this week (live in boston and the bruins won the cup) so it looks like i cant do the install till next weekend after i get my next paycheck so no pics for a least a week

Ok 3 out of four gauges are in and working great. I haven't put the egt in because it takes alittle more work/precision. The 4 gauge pillar looks SWEEET (how do i put pics up so i can share i've never done it before).
I drove around a bit and water temp is reading 180-205ish, Oil temp is around 210-220ish, and the oil pressure was reading just driving around 25, stomping got up to 40-45 psi. bu i noticed on idle i'm at 0 which makes me think my oil pump may be going but i've never had any problem and the old (stock) gauge never read 0 so it might ne the new sender

Not too shabby. Its a shame that you have to cut a chunk out of the dash like that. I'm really curious about how it would fit with an 88 dash.

What kind of problems are you having with the other sender/gauges?

[/QUTE]

Do you think it would fit if you trimmed the top of the pod? So I wouldn't have to cut my dash? At the moment it wouldn't bother me but I plan on restoring my rig and I want a good looking dash when I order the dash cover
