The Company is making Me replace My 04 E250 with 210k miles with a slightly less used 04 E250 with only 101k miles. Problem is the newer one doesn't have power locks or windows. I'm wondering if i could switch the doors without having wiring issues. Any other problems I could run into?
I don't know if your new van is going to have the necessary wiring going to the doors to operate the power windows. And the power locks have a central control with a remote on my '02 E150--seems to me this circuitry might also be missing on the new van. (My '02 also has power mirrors--the switches for mirrors, locks, and power windows are all in the doors, but are obviously linked to the central wiring for the van.)
You would do best to look at wiring diagrams for the manual and power versions of the van and see what you need to do. Sorry for the non-answer, but I think you are going to have a much more complex job than just swapping doors.
If you'd like a somewhat step-by-step of adding PW & PDL to a van not already equipped PM me your phone number (or I'll PM you mine) and I can walk you through this----I've already done it!

Jackpot for Dave! Way to go, JWA--thanks for offering this help...I love this forum.
Thanks for the help. I was hoping for a quick swap & be able to do pwr windows, locks & mirrors all at once. I'll probably only have this van for a year or 2 at most. They want Me in a Transit Connect, but I thought I could prolong it with this used van for a while. I love these vans with the 5.4.
