If it cant be fixed with duct tape and WD 40 it cant be fixed. It's already got the duct tape so now it's time for the WD40
Seriously WD40 is a great cleaner for things like that.
Nail Polish remover. Watched wife use it on my duct tape job after a hurricane rolled through worked well enough - desolves what ever the adhesive is in duct tape to tar *****. (I was going to scrape it off surgically with a razor blade and 6-pack - she did it before I finished 1 beer)
Nail polish remover is basically acetone which you can buy cheap at the hardware store. Nail polish remover has glycerin in it also, which helps with the drying (removing oils) effects of the acetone on the skin.
Some gasoline on a rag would do the trick. Whenever gas gets in contact with the adhesive, the glue will break down and be easily removed. I learned this purely by accident and it has worked every time since.
I heard somewhere that you can use vinegar to remove bumper stickers. ou take a rage and soak it in vinegar then place it on tje area that you want to remove for a few minutes and the sticker comes right off. I don't know if it would work on duct tape but you never know!
