True, because the pedal doesn't get hard to depress until after the first inch or so of travel, and between the ZF5 and the 4.10's dropping a gear can REALLY scrub speed
I've been driving it all weekend with essentially no power brakes, I'm not too worried about it you just need to be aware of it so you don't slam into someone.
Well yo have more cajones than i do cause i couldnt drive mine like that for a weekend, especially manually downshifting an auto. I agree with you travis it sucks a lot to do that. And please fix it tonight, i really dont want to see another carnage thread with your nice new truck in it.

i JUST replaced my vac pump today. 60 bucks from Advanced. With a lifetime warranty. Cant go wrong. And yes my brake light came on every once in a while. And When it would come on id have ZERO brakes.
I wasnt trying to be mean, im just trying to protect my future truck from getting smashed up
Cut me a check for $11k and I'll leave it parked and walk home to ensure its safety
What are you, like 4' tall and weigh 100lbs? I'm not a big guy by any means, but I have no problems bringing 'er down without power brakes. Like I said as long as you don't drive EXPECTING to have power brakes and increase your braking distances you're golden.

$11k is more than I paid for it, but if I'm going to sell it I'm going to make it worth the hassle
I'm 6'2" and only about a buck 190 (probably less now thanks to this stupid brace), all your strength must be in your arms from lack of female companionship?

When mine went I drove 2 days on bad brakes and then Bam. Blew front bearing out and she eat the belt to shreads in about 6sec at 2000rpms. Was a brand new belt too. Final cost with new belt was around 200 bucks.
