still getting CEL with code P0402

Yesterday I pulled and cleaned the EGR valve hopeing that would take care of the code but it didnt what step should I take next?

Id replace egr valve and see what happens

could clean the ebp sensor to

ebp the pcm uses to control egr valve

what is the trick to getting the EBP sensor out?

pulled the EBP and it was actually pretty clean
