Talking Awesome Neighbors

My trucks been my daily driver for about a month and Ive been replacing things right and left. A few days ago my next door neighbor walks over and hands me a card. My birthday was 2 months ago so i was a bit puzzled. Open the card: Says thanks on the front with a $25 Autozone gift card inside Ive helped them out with stuff a few times but they always pay me. Needless to say they're pretty much the coolest neighbors ever. Anyone else got awesome neighbors?

i got a neighbor that complains that my 04 ford is to loud with split off dual exhaust and wakes her up every morning when i go to work. i can't wait to get my 78 going with headers, true dual exhaust and 12 inch glasspacks , and firing that up in the morning to go to work. i think after a couple mornings she will be happy that i go to work in the 04.

Maybe my neighbors were hoping Id get a new muffler. Ever since I cut my cat off, punched the insides out, and welded it back on, its really loud. I think i missed a spot. Ive been leaving the house around 6:30

My neighbors helped me pull my drive train. They also helped me strip my roof and put on new shingles last weekend. You gotta love Iowa.

Every one of my neighbors are car guys. If i don't have a tool one of them does and vice versa. We all help each other out in one way or another. A guy down the block bought a body rotisserie and asked me if ide like to use it in trade for time on my lift..that's a no brain-er. I really like my neighborhood.

They don't complain that it's an eyesore, or that I'm always behind the apt building doing something to my truck. The landlord is cool too, lots of apts have rules against working on cars in the parking lot, but not mine. Funny, I see people in the hallway, and they all ask me about the truck, how it's running, what I'm going to do to it next, etc etc etc.

Yep, we just bought a new house and I was pruning the tree in the front yard the other day when the neighbor across the street came over on his tractor with a front bucket on it and offered to lift me up in the bucket to make it easier. He's a car guy too, and his son said my truck was a beast LOL.

I'm just glad most of my neighbors are Ford owners. When I brought my '79 home, some of my neighbors just had to come have a look and share stories about "when they had theirs" and they were all surprised on how decent the truck was (other than needing a desperate paint job) and shared their insights on what to look out for in the future. I thought it was pretty awesome. Every time I have the hood popped in the garage my neighbor Alvin is always asking me why I am messing with such a good running truck.

Wow, yall are some lucky people! I wish I lived where you did! Just the approval would be awesome, and the help would be... I don't even know...super mega uber awesome. I've gotten quite a few fines from the HOA. I just keep paying the fines in nickels. The last bag musta weighed about 15 pounds

I live about a 1/4 mile from any one and my neighbor lets me use his skid loader or tractor with front bucket. Great for pulling eng swapping around heavy parts, skid loader forks fit under a truck for a trans/xfer case removal easy enough.

He also owns about 400 acres I can go 4 wheeling on when ever also, even though he is a chebby guy and my X-brother in law we still get a long. Ya gotta like a neighbor like that.

I just took my Dodge tow rig and went and hauled his chebby to get its 2nd ring and pinion put in the rear end, weak **** 10 bolt. lol

That makes for a long driveway....you must live up by Orchard Farm or Black Walnut?

Or maybe Peruque? How can you claim St Charles as your location and not have neighbors? You gotta live on a BIG farm and that always a cool deal in my book.

Unless you are outa beer
