The PO (previous owner) didn't seem to realize that changing the angles of the hood arms changes everything. I am sure he did what he thought was right but the hood would only open so far. I did know that when I bought the vehicle so I don't hold any ill will towards the PO. It was just frustrating trying to figure out what he had changed. He covered it up with welds and lots of bedliner paint. Trust me, I have had much worse things on other builds. Don't get me started about the guy that primed and painted over duct tape patches. I would rather have had bondo filler than duct tape!
