i HAVE A GOOD counter BALANCED DRILLED 28oz FLYWHEEL I NEED TO USE NOW ON A INTERNALLY BALANCED 460.cAN IT BE COUNTER DRILLED OPPOSITE TO BALANCE IT????
nO SPARES OR PARTS WHER I LIVE.need a hands on solution, what are my options
No shop should have drilled into the flywheels counterweight to balance the crank in the first place.
The flywheel had no weight in the first place they drilled material out to equal 28oz. No weight on it!
This flywheel has a 28oz imbalace(drilled).Comes from a newer motor that was imbalanced.
i want to use it on another older internally balaced motor.
All i need is the balance the flywheel to zero.

hope you understand
I guess I don't. Not farmiliar with a flywheel that has weight removed as opposed to a cast in weight, but there would likely be nothing that could be done to change it. Can you post a picture of it ?
Will post a pic for you soon.
Its like the harmonic balancer that have holes drilled to balance, instead of adding weight they remove from opposite side.Think it started of as a 300 fly that was re drilled and modded to fit,so they had to create imbalance somehow.
Apparently i found someone who can do it for me around here.
Suppose if is was created that way it can be corrected that way too?????
There arent alot of 460's kicking around here or 60 fronts ,it Ffing sucks.
