Warped rotors again

At 26k I replaced my oem rotors and pads on my 03 F250cc. Now at 44k the NAPA rotors and Hawk pads are warped. I only haul sailboat fuel and plow my driveway in the winter. Anyone have drilled / slotted just in the front or any other suggestions. I also just did my backing plates...ouch.

ART Rotors, Performance Friction Pads.
75K on this set-up on my rig.
OEM gear went in the dumpster at 50K.

My OEM lasted 75K. Replaced front rotors only. At 130K, I replaced all 4 rotors with Drilled and Slotted. Just have 1,400 miles on them with no brake fade or warping. I pull a 28ft travel trailer.

I was warping rotors and running into brake fade until I installed OEM rotors and Hawk pads. Going to the dealership for rotors sure hurts the wallet but in the end I guess its worth it.

The Hawk pads 'grumble' (my buddy says it sounds more like a 'growling' noise) a bit when they get hot, but I'm willing to put up with it.

The same thing happened to me at almost the same mileage intervals on the same year SD. They actually may not be warped although they feel like it when you step on them. Mine ended up being badly rusted and the reputable shop that worked on them said that I actually was not driving the truck enough. You have very low mileage for an 8 year old truck, and if it sits around for a lot of days the rotors don't get heated up and dried off. The corrosion start building up in patched and the rotors feel warped. Start driving the truck more.

Did you check the rotor runout with an indicater to make sure the rotors are warped? Are your slide pins in good shape?

The pads could just be glazed over giving a warped rotor feeling. Happened to me a few times on my 04' I'm going on 49k miles with the original OE brakes. After a thousand or so miles the pads must have unglazed themselves because they went back to normal working order. Every time I glazed them over I was going down steep mountain grades at high speeds and had to brake. Heated the brakes up a lot and I'm sure boiled the brake fluid. Its a good idea to do a regular brake system flush to get out all the old fluid also. I flush mine every two years.

I knew someone would come with the dial indicator...It's too much to explain but after learning about the causes of rotor "warping" I haven't had any cases of "warping"...somethings are hard to let go of the world being flat at one time was also

Love the "it's too much to explain" excuse.... That is BS being used in place of FACTS.

No, I dont have a torqshift. Slide pins are in good shape. The first set looked like there were deposits ono the rotors; could have been a rust issue on the rotor. Its tough to put more miles on it. I drive 2 miles to work. I'll know more when I take it apart. I just trying to decide whether to use slotted in the front.

It really is to much to explain which is why I suggested Google.I happened upon this a few years back and I have no expertise on the subject only my own experience.I would advise someone having problems with rotors "warping" to look into it worked for me.
