Random Stutter at 3500rpm
Sometimes my 302 will run up to 4500 rpm no problem and shift well, but other times it will run up to around 3500 and act like it is either missing and has a loss of power. Checked all pushrods and readjusted all rockers. It has a 97 gph Holley electric fuel pump with stock lines from the tank to the pump. I do have a fairly cheap glass fuel filter between the carb and pump. On a side note, when my truck sits for a while it takes a little bit(30 sec) for the gas to get to the engine for it to fire(bowls to fill in the carb?). I have thought that my problem may be caused by a fuel flow problem or possibly vaccum advance? Any help is greatly appreciated!
