Checkvalve in Return line
A buddy with a 91 F250 has been having Air in Fuel line issues after shutting down for the evening.
His mechanic tried all the normal fixes and now wishes to drop the fuel tanks to inspect/look at the Checkvalves in the reurn line.
Are these check valves in each tank? on the common return line?
Any thoughts would be appreciated and passed along.

There is a little rubber valve but as long as there is fuel in the tank it should be below fuel level.

Get the mechanic to do a clear hose test..........or do it yourself ensure you put a curl/pigtail loop in the hose so you can identify the direction of leak.
There are numerous air intrusion points, one being the fuel heater connector (black) area on top of the Filter header......

I happen to have my sending unit sitting on my table at home. I will take a picture and post it for you. I wonder if I should change my check valve while I have it out. It doesn't seem stiff or deteriorated, though.
